On Aug 9 captain kim rushed to save her catamaran, kaoha, from the lahaina fire but was unsuccessful. She was able to board her dinghy and drive into the darkness to locate Blaze II at anchor in front of Lahaina. Immediately she began rescuing others who took to the ocean for safety.
Blaze II and the 46 Bahia remain available to book from any harbor on Maui (excluding Lahaina), Lanai, Molokai, Oahu, Big Island, or Kauai.
